I Know!!™ founder Simon has always enjoyed a good guessing game.
He played them with his own dad, and when he had a daughter, they started playing “20 Questions” on long car rides.
While Simon had always prided himself on his deductive powers, his daughter quickly put him in his place.
“I was amazed by how much she knew!” he says with a smile, “As a parent, there’s just no better feeling.” Simon started to think that his favorite game deserved its own app.
When his friend, Chris, approached him with the same idea, they joined forces to create Hmm...
I Know!!™ They added avatars, chat capability, and a point system.
And they built in a way to check answers and facts online via Wikipedia— without having to leave the app and search the web on their own.
“Kids today are so informed, so empowered,” says Simon.
